The Sont building was once owned by at&t corperation. It is located on 9 west 57 Street. This building was completed in 1984 and was designed by Philip Johnson and John Burgee. They designed this building to be 647 feet tall (197meters) and 37 stories high. The attraction of this skyscraper are the arched door ways, the 7 story entrance and the chippendale style. The lobby of the building has shops and galleries and there is also a garden towards the midlle of the building with a designed statue of spiderman. This post modern skyscraper's exterior materials are constructed of clad greyish pink granite and steel. This building was atracting but not something that was catching my eye.
